There was an interesting point brought up by padiscubapro on this thread http://www.scubaboard.com/showthread.php?t=94218 about how if you change to air diluent from trimix then do you deco assuming air you have neglected that you are still offgassing helium into a closed system and it will affect deco. Rather than hijack that thread I thought I would post the question here.
OK so how much inert gas is actually in our tissue? I expect there are huge variables in the equation but a ballpark figure will do just fine. Is there a way to predict offgassing of the inerts into a loop and could closed circuit computers be programmed to account for it?
