About hood for a dry suit

Hi!
Could you tell me, if a hood for a dry suit (like Viking X-treme) is dry or wet?

Most drysuit hoods are wet hoods without the skirt at the bottom of the neck opening.... though you can get attached dry hoods on some drysuits... notably Viking.

I still have the dry hood from my first Viking in a drawer right here by the computer (why I have no idea.) I cut it off after a few dives because I was tired of the bubble head effect and the little valve I put in it didn't really help that much.

Why do I keep all this stuff....
