Backup body? Help me out here... It sounds self-explanatory...where does one get one of these? How much?

By backup body, generally what is meant is buying a backup camera.
Comes in handy for all those, "in case stuff happens' moments..

I have a question about the A620: do you have to keep the shutter button mashed down in order for it to continue filming? I have a Kodak Z620 and I HATE THAT REQUIREMENT. Also, they don't make a housing for the Z620.

Nope- mash and release to start filming, mash and release to stop.

ok......got the A620...

Got a 4 gig card in it.....

Dialed it in to Movie mode....

30 frames per second
shows 34 min for 640x480
95 min for 320x240

pretty disappointing for a 4 Gig card 150x dont you think?
