The nice folks in Miami think that any voyage by any vessel must clear customs at both ends.

I explained that a coastwise voyage by a US flagged vessel does not even inform customs when movement is made, nor are they required to.

I was told I was wrong. I said to arrest me.

I am still not under arrest, and I still make many coast wise voyages on US flagged vessels without customs knowing anything about it.
