Argh so Henderson stopped making the Hyperstrech and I've known this for a while, but I need to find a 7mm to be able to dive the winters here in TX. I really love my 3mm hyperstrech and i've used the 7mm with much the same happyness.

I've searched online to find a 7mm in XL but all that I can find is an XL Tall. So does anyone have any recommendations for a wetsuit that is equivalent? And I don't want to pay $450 for henderson's aqua lock. I had the semidry with those stupid cuffs and hated it.

Why did Henderson stop making the Hyperstretch? That was a really comfortable suit. A few years back you used to see a ton of them on boats. My suspicion has been that it didn't hold up well, and the knee area on my 7mm is evidence, though my 3mm has been fine but it gets a lot less use.

I would recommend looking at the Henderson 8mil thremoprene semi dry. I have one and use it when I want to dive cold water wet. it is a very buoyant suit but it is also very warm.
