For those of you coming out to the island Wednesday who want to know what to expect, or for those of you who can't make it out and are curious about what our Chamber is all about, sit back for 15 minutes and take a look at a video walk through our Chamber that Karl and I created a while back. It gives some history and perspective as to what our Chamber is all about.

Hi Ken,

Thanks for posting the video. I visited the unit in 1978 or 1979, when one of my classmates at the USC School of Medicine was doing an elective rotation there. I did not know it had only been operating for 4 or 5 years at that time. Another classmate and I got in several dives before we returned to the mainland. California is very fortunate to have the USC Hyperbaric Chamber.

I also had the opportunity to do a chamber ride when I took Dick Rutkowski's chamber operation course in 2005 at Hyperbarics International in Key Largo. This is an experience I would encourage others to take advantage of, if available, a very informative and educational activity.

Very best to Karl, you, and all the volunteers at the unit. It's great seeing Chamber Day and the Chamber Challenge being so successful.

Good, safe diving,

Craig
