Hi All,

I finally learned the difference between Baptodoris mimetica and Doriopsilla albopunctata. B. has oral tentacles that are not present in D. Shot taken at White Point.

Baptodoris also has a tighter branchial plume than Doriopsilla. Shot taken at Marineland.

Check out Gary McDonald's link for a detailed comparison of the branchial plumes of these two slugs.

Here is a shot that I like for its movement. Id was verified by presence of oral tentacles before the image was taken.

Thanks to Jeff Goddard for help with the identification of this species.
