Oh yeah.

It's most certainly gotten more PC as time has gone by. There was always the language censor in place (AFAIK) but threads were allowed to wander a little bit more and into some, well, off-color areas.

at least during my brief time here, i have hoped for, and spoken up for, a more mature treatment of members

we should be treated as adults as much as possible where it counts. we should have a voice as to where the Board goes and what happens (we are, after all, *the Board*)

from what i understand, that was not the case before
 
oh, i really don't know anything, quite honestly

some of the old timers refer to a rather "heavy handed" approach to dealing with members and their posts

i never experienced it, since i found ScubaBoard after Pete took over
