Hello to everybody!

It's a pleasure for me to take part in this forum.

I live in a small town between Barcelona and Girona and I'm very close to many diving places in the well-known Costa Brava.

Best regards,
Fernando

Welcome to Scubaboard, Fernando!!!!!!!!

I've been to your country twice and both times was to Barcelona. I was traveling with non-divers but will have to make a return trip with my dive gear and check out Costa Brava.

Welcome!

What are some of your favorite dive locations in Spain?

Is it considered cold or warm water diving in Barcelona?

My favorite dive places in Spain are Costa Brava in Cataluña (north-east Mediterranean coast) and the Canary Islands.

We have warm water in the summer (20 - 22º C) and quite cold water in the winter (10 - 12º C). So it's necessary to have a wet suit and a dry suit if you are interested in diving all the year.

Hi Sam!

Next time don't forget to put your regulator into your suitcase and I will show our best dive places close to Barcelona City.

One doubt for you... Is possible to dive around NYC??

Best regards,
Fernando

Yes, dive gear is coming with me when I head to Spain again.

It is possible to dive around NYC. There are boat dives off of Brooklyn and New Jersey where there are wrecks. Long Island has wrecks and shore diving.
