I think that the only right thing for you to do is offer to take this person with you to Hawaii.

That being said, just let me know of the dates you will be going and I will contact you with my name and so forth so you can book the tickets, hotel and dives...

No, seriosly though, i am really glad to hear all worked out. I sort of feel like a paranoid smuck when I lock all of my gear down at the point...

On another note i just started using a SS bolt snap to clip off my camera, it works really nice. I tie it on with my wrist strap. I then clip it onto my scooter ring on my crotch strap while not in use. It is surely not DIR but really convenient!

So sorry to hear that Dr Bill :(

... too bad the "real world" is over there too

I'm very glad It's still not as prevalent there as other places :)

That is great, glad to hear you found your camera. I have a similar but opposite story, I was doing a beach dive in Oahu and on the swim back I see a small twinkle on the ground and notice it was set of keys. I grab them and get out of the water. One of the first things I see is a guy with all of his bags empty, looking frantic, so I walked over to him and asked if he lost his keys and sure enough it was his.
