The lectures are from 9 am to 11:40 am in the Library Annex, 4th floor, EDMS 410.
http://library.tamu.edu
click on directions/maps/parking, then library annex. The Annex is right next to the Central Campus Parking Garage.

The labs are in the Anthropology building, which is close to the parking garage and library annex. For an interactive campus map, go to
http://campusmaps.tamu.edu/
and do a search for anth and "central campus" to find the building and the parking garage. The library annex is the building on the left of the garage that forms a "T" with it; it does not show up in a search, which is why I included the other map. Between the 2 of them you can find the best directions depending upon which way you are coming in from.

One important thing to be aware of is that this is Parent's Weekend at A&M. The Central Parking Garage is right next to a bunch of dorms and Duncan Field, where there will be a BBQ and carnival from 11 am to 2 pm. Be sure to leave plenty of time to find parking, and know the location of other parking garages: the North Side garage would probably be a better alternative as it is further away from the BBQ, but the University Center garage is about the same distance away.

As far as getting lunch, anything around the University will be very busy, but there might not be enough time to leave campus and find parking again. If my daughter's soccer game gets rescheduled, I might be able to go somewhere and save a few tables. Let me know if you are planning on attending and would like to meet for lunch.

Thanks for the info. I will definitely want to eat some lunch. It sounds like it might be best to bring a sandwich with me since I will not want to leave parking ... if I get a good spot that is.

You know they do. :)

I was just wondering about the timing and heavy the traffic was going to be that day. And whether it could be delivered outside of a building or a parking lot. I just talked to one of the pizza places, and they said to just place the order the day before.

And of course, if you're looking for country music, drunk college kids, and free beer after the Texas A&M Shipwreck weekend, look no further than www.budweiserduckjam.com .

Alas, I can't stand country music.

Or drunken frat folks.

Or budweiser.

double-u, tee, eff do I live here?
