Gabe-
Those rays about 3 minutes in... Was that on the Mahi?

Gabe: Great vid, I forwarded that to a friend of mine who is soon to visit.

Tim: That looks like the Mahi to me, and it is known for Spotted Eagle Rays

Peace,
Greg

Greg-
I thought it looked big enough to be the Mahi... Dove it a couple of months ago, and saw a whole squadron of spotted eagle rays "fly" by, the second coolest thing I've seen so far. "Panic" isn't the right word, but I did have a moment of intense "how the hell do I get everybody else's attention to point out that really cool thing" feeling. (Coolest marine life I've seen was a white tip hanging out under a ledge on a west side dive, my first shark.)

Watching that video got me itching to dive again, seems like it's been forever; just checked my log book though, and turns out it's only been a couple of weeks! I guess time gets distorted when you're on terminal leave.

Must dive again soon!

Pure :rocker:
