There's too much to see around P.V.

As much as Charlie and I explore the Northern Islands, Catalina and other mainland So Cal sites, the more we realize that PV is a diamond in the rough...

Or actually... no... no-one should dive P.V.. Its horrid... there is nothing to see... go to Catalina where the vis is better... Palos Verdes is barren and stripped of all life:D

I was 50F last week, but was close to 60F today. Of course, not many thermoclines in twenty feet of water. :)

Bob Rice Pond in Boise, air temp a balmy 55-F, water temp a cool 45-F at 20-ft. Surface temp is a nice 48-F to about 10-ft. 40-minutes of bottom time yielded a single sighting of a Bluegill fish. And yes, I did use a drysuit.

We get around 2 mpg with twin Honda 150s. Catalina is about 25 miles, but we rarely go there. There's too much to see around P.V.

If I were to have boat access to PV, I'd dive there all the time too. I just hate doing shore dives. Need to find a rich sugar mama with boat.
