Also, a Scubaboard member named TheGoose has started an local diving club called "Birmingham Reef Seekers". www.BirminghamReefSeekers.com. Right now there is a bulletin board up. More to follow.
Goose has already got some great trips organized to the Gulf starting this month as well as exotic destinations a bit later. We had our first meeting a few weeks ago at Bluewater Park in Pelham. We have our next meeting/dive on April 17th. It would be a great way for you to meet folks that are headed in your direction anyway.
