8/28/10 Whitestar accident

Lifeflight was called out to the quarry this afternoon. I heard an older male had a medical issue at depth. His buddy got him to shore and some other divers helped out til ems got there. This happened right after i left and trumbull county s&r dive team was still there. Hopefully they were able to help out. Anyone have any more info?

Not sure where you heard that it was at depth, but the incident reported have happened at the shore in no more than three feet of water. He had very responsible and well trained dive buddies and the quarry team had a super fast response time. You will be happy to know that he is doing well and recovering nicely. At this time the doctors have no idea why the incident occured and assume he just fainted.

Drink your fluids, eat properly and lets be careful out there.
