Thanks,

Sorry for the delay, just saw your post. I stayed at 7 Mile Beach Resort once and did a couple of dives with their service-7 mile watersports. It wasn't horrible, very nice boat, it's just that I was not impressed with the captain they had at the time. He seemed more interested in the women than his job. On a trip to Stingray City he got the boat SO stuck on the sandbar that he needed all the gear and all the people on the boat moved to the bow! I still haven't figured out how he got an inboard backed onto a sandbar that badly. When he finally got the boat off the sand he dropped the snorkelers off in 20' and the divers in another spot at 5'! FYI, there was no wind and very little wave action. Go with walltowalldiving.com

I just spent a week diving with 7mile diver - 7 mile watersports and had a great trip. We did 6 days of two tank North Wall dives with one day a three tank dive with a leisurely lunch break.

The van was onsite to pick us up every morning at 8am and it was about a 15 minute drive over to the Yacht Club to the boat where we loaded up and left.

We dove exclusively the North Wall, never repeating a wall site, and only repeating the second shallow site once (it was a calmer day and there was a ton of traffic out on the water that day).

Overall I had a great experience with 7 mile, the staff were courteous and efficient, and the diving was fantastic.

The boat was quite nice, lots of room and there was only 6 - 8 of us the entire week although the boat can handle far more.

Just got back from a week at 7 mile with Daval...

A note about the current Seven Mile Divers boat captain... the current captain started last fall, so this is his first full season driving for 7 mile, and he's very skilled. I talked to someone who's been staying and diving regularly at 7 mile for years and he said that this is by far the best captain they've ever had, and that some of the others weren't very good at all.

So I guess it all boils down to who is working when you're there... ppl tend to move around a lot in this industry... But the current captain is great.
