In its 23rd year, the DAN Barbeque is a combined effort on the parts of TA Dive Club and Sub-Aquatics Dive Shop [http://www.subaquatics.com], of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and Portage Quarry [http://www.portagequarry.com], on the outskirts of Bowling Green.
The two-day event expects to draw a host of divers from all over the region to raise funds for DAN during a weekend of fun.
Tickets are available at the front gate of Portage Quarry and at the Shelter House by the quarry itself. You can also call ahead to order tickets.
Saturday features the annual Underwater Treasure Hunt; Sunday doors open for a barbeque feast and the anticipated after-dinner drawing for prizes donated from supporting manufacturers.
The DAN Barbeque features tentsful of prizes for both the drawing and a 50-50 raffle. All proceeds go to support DAN.
