we went out of ponce inlet saturday seas were a bit bumpy 2 to 3 foot headed out 36 miles and dove a nice barge in 110' water but hunted the deck. vis was about 75 foot as I could see our divers in the deck at the surface as I was hanging off the ladder of the boat hunting the surface. I could have shot huge aj's from the ladder. we had hundreds of barracuda's off the back of the boat. we did pretty good. 4 on the boat but only me and my buddy shot the fish.
I would post the pictures of the fish but for some reason I cannot get them to upload. are others getting this same problem??????
anyway I ended up with 12 mangos and 2 sheepsheads. 2-20" mangos the rest in the 12 to 14" size. my buddy got about 5 20" mangos and 3 red snappers to 22" and a 25 lb gag. a thermocline came into effect on my second dive and our 3rd dive we hit east ridge with 4 foot vis. len shot the gag there in his secret hole. awesome day of shooting and now my freezer is happier
