Warm Water ? I dive Lake Erie there is no warm water :D I'm planning on getting a STA to dive singles. I am planning on getting the SS backplate on the Explorer

:D

Are you saying you are going to dive singles with an STA and an Explorer Wing??

If so thats not the best idea IMHO

Lil Irish, something you might want to do is recalculate because the E-8 119's are -10.5 full and -2 empty (per the PST website)... (not that it really matters with that small of a difference..) http://www.pstscuba.com/specsheet.pdf has the specs...

Dont you just love the 119? ;)

Sorry, worded that wrong. STA with an Eclipse when I get enough money to buy another rig. I won't be diving singles again till next year.

Yeah I do, but I just got offered a set of Fabers 95's already doubled up with bands and 02 cleaned with manifold for $600 from a SB member, so I think I will go that way to get away cheaper.

well myself, I am not a fan of fabers... very big and heavy for the amount of gas they hold, BUT they do have good buoyancy characteristics, and for that price, I would say go for it.... I picked up a faber LP 120 and almost pulled my back out!! HAH
Thats why I love the PST tanks so much.. they are smaller and lighter than the faber 120s, plus they arent painted so you dont have to worry about them looking like crap after a few rough dives.. ;)

Will a 55 lbs wing carry 130's? If it carrys that I'm golden.
I hope so, because I use a 38lb wing for mine ;).

Personally, I put my Halcyon 55 in the closet after getting my AGIR 38, and never looked back.

:D Knowing my luck the US probably has a ban on Swedish BP/W's

Now I have a whole new set of problems, here's what I have so far:

Halycon Explorer
Faber LP 95 Doubles

Now I have to worry about a Back Gas Regulator for Doubles, I currently have an Apexs ATX 200 with a ATX 40 Octo (yellow), can't afford 2, so.....

Get rid of the 40, and buy a ATX 50 or TX 50 with 1 stage?

Or just buy a DST - DS4 1st stage and use the ATX 40 ?

Any ideas? Oh, and thanks for the help guys.

You can get them from a guy in Canada. It is immensely easier to dive than the Halcyon (or any other similar sized wing, like the Dive Rite Classic)

Personally I would get things to match (esp 1 stages, big rule 6 violation there ;) ). Helps for service etc etc. You will need more regs at some point, you are only postponing the damage :)

Now this is a Hogarth cave set-up

Seeing how I have no caves up here, I eventually I will be doing wrecks.

Is this a standard set up? or does anyone notice something out of place that is not up to snuff for wrecks (hose routing, etc)

That is a nice illustration of proper hose routing. You may need to add a drysuit inflator hose which would come off the left post (same as the gauge/back up) or from an argon bottle.
I thought I read earlier you were considering GUE F, if so alot of your questions would be answered in JJ's book which is a prerequsite read for fundamentals class.
