Thanks, Ed, Cheddar, Ken, Peter and Caloy. I very much appreciate the kind words, especially from such esteemed company. Peter, we had a solid 40 feet of blue water in Carmel Saturday. After a month of 6-15 feet of Green Crud in the Bay, it was really nice to be able to get around the corner. The wind came up after lunch and it was a bumpy ride home, but well worth it. I read reports of up to 25' at the Breakwater that day. I think the wind finally blew off the surface and let that cold clear water come up from deep in the Monterey Canyon.

Thanks Jim and Yoda. Too bad it wasn't a shore dive! Otherwise, a good scouting trip for NCUPS. Maybe I could kick out from the 17th hole at Pebble Beach. Big time surface kick, though.
