I'm originally from the Chicago area and thinking about visiting family over the 4th of July weekend. Being fully addicted to diving, I can't go long before having to jump off a boat somewhere. So, I'm hoping to get in some dives while in the area.

What is recommended? My preference is for the deeper wrecks (</=130fsw) but would love to see some intact schooners. Do any of my SB brothers and sisters want to get together and catch a boat? Is there a crowd that needs an extra diver that I could hook up with?

Thanks,

Richard

Wish I could join ya Packetsniffer, but I'm not quite down with a deep one that weekend. Not drysuit trained yet.
That, and I don't trust my old Dacor reg for the cold stuff. < 30fsw wrks4me this time 'round.

Maybe I'll make it up your way to do the Bonne Terre Mine later this year. I'm actually in Tulsa these days. I keep praying for it to be as temporay as possible though. :D

That reminds me. Where is Sandy? I remember her "promising" (lol) to break that warm water diving streak and take me wreck diving in Lake Michigan if I came up. :D

(Ok, I might have stretched that one.)
