I was there Feb 20/21 & while the stairs & docks were very nice, the vis was at best 6ft. I don't think the filter system was running, I walked by it & if it was running it was the quietest filter I have ever heard. Quite the task for something that big.
After 120ft it was dark as night, we all had high powered lights & really needed them, at 200ft we decided that was enough.
Staff was very courteous & friendly.

I did two dives at the grotto last week. Two different days. I stayed shallow at 60 and 83 feet. The visibility was 30 feet max. I could see the docks clearly looking above from my safety stop. The docks are well done. My computer said 64 degrees both days. Used a 5 mil and was chilly. Next day used a 7 mil and it was fine. The service was good and my Instructor was first rate.
