4-21 North Shore Dive

Went up to the Salem area today and discovered serious surge. I'm still not sure why but I decided to go anyway (90 minute drive I guess). Vis was 5 feet at best, water was 41°. Max depth 25 feet, BT 40 min. I would have stayed longer but the hunting conditions were extremely poor I did manage to see two bugs that were almost legal so there's hope. I also saw lots of crabs and urchins.

Can't wait for the water temps to start rising!!! 54 is my magic number...

I thought about doing Cape Ann, Rockport afterwork but web marine forecast didn't look too good.. Just curious, where do you dive in Salem area?

Sort of a special spot i.e. private access, very easily over-fished/bugged. It's a shore dive.
