I doubt the addition of one more O ring will lead to your sure death. Modern single hose regulators are an O ring festival, what is one more? I have several of those swivles and they have given no problem. I use them to route under my arm. It is a non issue. N

what kind did you get?? The cheaper Tition model for around 30 bucks or a more $$ one?

good deal!!! Thought I was going to have to pay that 140.00 for an atomic hose witha swivel. I decided to go with the 31 dollar one.Hope my luck is like yours with no problems for 6 years.
We just signed up with Diving World(I-85 and North Druid Hills) for the Bonaire trip in Oct///they have one slot left///you might want to thinkabout it if you can break away in Oct.

..............that Atomic hose only costs $70, NOT $ 140 ! (Scubatoys) , you should read up on the recent threads about those cheap $ 31 swivels blowing apart and almost drowning divers....... if you saw the $ 31 version next to the Atomic version, you'd understand why the Atomic is more expensive.........the Atomic doesn't have a little screw holding it together that's prone to working itself lose at very inconvienient times, causing catastrophic gas losses...........sometimes you DO get what you're paying for...a word to the wise.

is this the same thing? im looking at one for my poseidon reg

...I'm not sure I understand your question.......however, from the photograph, it appears the Oxycheq swivel is the 'cheap' design version, not the excellent Atomic version..... I too have several Jetstreams where I'd like to install swivels, I've not had a chance to find out if the Atomic swivels are compatable with the Jetstreams.

Heck, I don't care, it is the ones that apparently work just fine, one is older than dirt. That Atomic swivel is a ball type I believe which is a better design, more money, but also nice quality. N

If one does a proper equipment check, things don't work "lose" (sic) and fall out.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
