I have recently bought this mirror. I tried on 2 different dives and on both wrist sides. I have tried attaching it to a console. And I got a second opinion from a friend/instructor after he tried it. I am now 100% confident to say that It is not working as advertised. First of all, in order to see your buddy he must be close to you (less than 1m from your site and less than 1m behind you- and I really mean 1 m or less) and even then, you have to struggle to find the right position for the mirror. It is much easier to turn to see your divers/students. I do not recommend to anyone to buy this. it is an advertising trap. I am not a beginner diver. I am a master instructor with more than 20 years of experience (teaching).

I bought one last year. I've used now and then, it can be useful, especially for Christmas trees divers they can check to be sure all their gear is still hanging.

Mirrors are super useful. I carry one all the time.

Why not spend less money and get as functional a unit without any goofy distortion. It also supports a business that supports this site.

I'm looking at this myself, how do you like the mirror? How far can you see?
