30 Whale sharks at the Flower Gardens!

I just received this message from my roommate who works on the M/V Fling and is on the boat now, heading back from the Flower Gardens. If it was from anyone else, I'd be skeptical...
Too bad I'm heading to Florida tomorrow or I'd be there

We just found a school of about 30 whale sharks at the Flower Gardens on this Thursday-Friday trip we are on right now! What a sight to see!

I'd recommend coming out this weekend if you can to see them while they are still around!

I'll send pics and video later when we get back in to shore and I have time to post them. I know, you all probably don't believe me. 30 whale sharks!!!

I hope they just got a couple of them tied up-----till Saturday anyway----

Got my wish. We had two of them on rig 1133 today. ( go to Captain's Log for Photos)

Also had a pod of 200 - 300 spinner dolphin follow the dive boat around for a while as we were leaving. I shot some video, but it might be awhile before I get it edited.

Just got back from Florida & waiting to hear back from my roommate in the gulf r/g pics and video.
