Unfortunately, around here that seems to be a really big IF.

Get a copy of the Compressed Gas Assoiation standards for internal inspections and educate them.

OK, so I picked up those tanks yesterday. Next stop the hydro shop. Could anyone hazard a guess at their identity? They're in Australia but I expect they are made in USA. All three are paint over gal, dimensions of one looks like 25" by 6.5" and the hydro stamps start in 74 and end in 95. The one I've looked inside of still shines but it looks like someone has been sanding the inside so hopefully they'll come up alright.

Tank #1
DOT-3AA2250
HJ 359717
29.4 Q 6 974+ c. (The Qmay not be a Q, the 9 in 974 may not be a 9 and the c. looks like either c o with a dot inside it )
USD boot.

Tank #2
Top line unreadable due to shoddy repaint.
36 288.1
6 . 74 (the 6 may not be a 6)
Aqualung boot

Tank #3
DOT 3AA2250
HJ 39241
11 ↑ 75 + (question - is this the 10% overpressure plus mark?)

Tanks #1 and #3 are Healtways steel 72s. Most HJ tanks were made by Norris. I have some of these and they are excellent tanks.

The + is the 10 % overfill but it must be after the last current hydro stamp to be applicable.
