LOL, thanks but you had to mention crawfish. Now I want some and is why I think we should have a boil at springfest.:D

Save your postage, Not a problem settling at Springfest. I boil allot during the season for large crowds and it averages about $10.00 per person.

Ewww, I'm with Hetland on this one. Not keen on too many inshore bottom feeders.

I don't know if I'm happy or sad about the snapper season. Guess I'm just going to have to start taking more pictures!
 
Do you guys NOT see sheepshead offshore? The biggest I've seen are always offshore and in deep water. *shrugs*


I know in Alabama sheepshead are regarded by many as a trash fish, thats just ignorance... and you eat mullet?? :)

I won't turn down sheepshead or flounder, I just prefer snapper. It's easier to clean (than sheepshead) and you can use it for sashimi. Fish that spend any time in fresh/brackish water during their life cycle pick up parasites that make eating them raw impractical.
