I was just there in March 09 participating in pretoma's shark and turtle tagging on the Undersea Hunter. I am going back as pretoma is doing a second trip in August and this time will be on the ARGO. There were LOTS of sharks. Have been to Cocos 4 times in the past 2 years and everytime something different to amuse us. In March it was the bait balls - a first for me.
Fairlybasset I have never been to Galapagos but hear Cocos is comparable to Wolf and Darwin - hope to get to Galapagos in 2010/11. July / August is prime time. Enjoy!
It seems like because of the economy some folks may be canceling their trips. If you look on the underseahunter web site they have been advertising some opportunities for last minute trips.
