Perhaps sad, but it will be food and other useful parts for the local people......better then letting them drown/freeze to death.

OH and BTW it isn't 200 whales to be killed. . . it is 80 or so . . .

There still were about 80 of the white mammals left in the lakes by late October, but the lakes and the channel are quickly freezing over and the whales' air hole shrinking.
