Well, of all the gadgets I have been amassing since certifying this past summer, I just received what may be the coolest...an INOi 20GB Photo Hard Disk. I'm not sure how recent this technology is but I'm stoked...shoot, shoot and shoot, transfer the data and start the next day's dives with a clean slate. Gotta love gadgets!

OK, looking around the board...it seems these storage devices are commonly used, particularly iPod. Just an newbie getting excited

The thing is laptops are so amazing these days 1/2 inch thick ounces in weight fully functional. With 3gb processors 320gb HDD, 15" very high res displays, all your photo editing software, and 5,000,000 companies making bags of all comfortable shapes and sizes - including waterproof. DVD burners, and every interface known to computing. With it all that light, portable, and battery life (with extenders) nearing the 10-15 hour range between charges - why use anything else?
