I have recently refurbished and donated a 2-man submarine I built in 1974, to the Natural Science Center of Greensboro. Does anyone have a sense of the fair market value of this submarine? Search on "Submarine" will display album pics.

It's hard to put a value on a home built submarine. How many dives on it?

Any certifications?

40+ dives, no certifications. Designed to 200+ ft depth, but max depth ever dived was 80+ ft.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong - but how about posting a link to the pictures - thanks - reminds me of "Popular mechanics" mag when I was young -

I really want to see pix of the sub you built - thanks in advance

I was going to comment about my recollection of the sub on the cover of Popular Mechanics at about that time. I so wanted to build one. Maybe in my next life.

Love the bend-o-matic on the panel!

Very cool! I use to own a decompression meter like that... :)

Very cool. It must have been a lot of fun.
