avalon casino point, my 12 year old will be certified on sunday and want to take him to the places with the most to see,any suggestions of where to get in the water and where i can wow him a bit.probably will be there on the 24th and 25th and hope to get in quite a few dives.

Shore diving at Casino Point offers a wide range of habitats and interesting sites (and sights). I've done over 1,000 dives there alone and don't get tired of it because I always see something different. It's a great place for a newly-certified diver.

I will be off in Belize and Hinduras while you're here. Otherwise I'd be happy to give a few pointers on site since I dive there most weekends (and weekdays!).

Enjoy.

as well as other info, including a map of Casino Point (but storms do move things) can be found through the links at www.ladiver.com. You can take him to see the Cousteau monument - that's relatively shallow, if I recall correctly.
