low press....hi press.....computer console to hi, octo to low...inflator hose to low..is that right???? Am i new to this, or what???

I suggest that you make sure that you are not damaging your equipment or doing something which is not right.
Anyway:
HP is for the SPG and/or Air Integrated (AI) computer. It will provide the full tank pressure.
LP is for the second stages and the inflator. It will provide a reduced pressure.
