I just discovered this board, as I am trying to re-enter the diving scene after taking a few years off. Got my start while working for TEKNA in the 80's. Does anyone still remember them?

Hope you have fun here, too!!

being in this board is as if being with buddies during an SIT...
welcome to the board, though may be a bit belated...

My first set of gauges were Tekna guages. I liked the depth gauge in particular as the design offerred much better resolution than most others. I added the nifty bottom timer and dove with them for years.

Greetings and welcome to Scubaboard!!

Did you have a hand in designing the Tekna scooter ( DPV )?

No, I didn't have a hand in designing the TEKNA scooter, but I did lots of seminars on how to repair them. I was their Export Sales Manager for many years, so had to help sell and service them. My best memory was traveling to the Australian dive show in Melbourne and trying to explain to a bunch of Australian guys how to do repairs (I was a young female at the time, in a male dominated industry!)
