Some questions about 18% gray cards and underwater photography/videography:
Does anyone use an 18% gray card for manually setting white balance underwater?
Does anyone manufacture a waterproof gray card?
Do you get better results using a gray card rather than something white?

Apologies ... I thought the OP was after a grey card to use while underwater to set custom WB
No apologies needed. You may be right and I may be wrong. It HAS happened before. If you don't believe me, ask my wife.
To the OP, if you use a grey card to white balance it will cause you to overexpose because the camera will see the grey as white and attempt to compensate for the "dark" images.
