Instead of using your battery on/off to adjust the temps. For example, it can be used to control Santi BZ400, giving it capabilities that the BZ400 didn't have before, fully linear adjustment to make it exactly the temperature you want. Please note don't try this at home yourself, a bad controller can fry you and your expensive battery, also temperature control malfunctions can seriously injure and kill a diver, especially high-powered ones.
