Howdy,

The battery used to sit on my rEvo case, but the rEvo is gone. The battery is 14" tall and 2.5" in diameter; side gland. I do not think I'll like it on my hip, so I am thinking of using it the way I'd use it with my sidemount setup by clipping it to the lower back/butt clips. Another approach is to put it on the one of the 3L Meg tanks. Not sure which way to go here.

The backup plan's to get a smaller battery and carry it on a hip, but I sure love some heat in Great Lakes and huge batteries win.

try it on your hip first. If you have it all the way back against the backplate it's surprisingly unobtrusive. You can also mount it directly to the plate like you would with a drysuit inflation bottle
