Wooooowwww! I don't think I've seen fourteen eagle rays total here in Hawaii in the some 300 odd dives I've done here in Hawaii!

Sounds like you had quite a day!:D

Almost have us beat....18 is our record! Glad you had a good time!!

i wanna see a pic lisa

and were they in formation?
or scattered to the four-winds?

'cuz.. scattered doesn't count :D
if it does.. WE saw 18 too :eyebrow:
[a few lone rangers out and about as well]

film? in a camera? how barbaric :11:

i saw 'em all the time during my first year :blinking:
my second year.. they eluded me :shakehead
but to start my third year.. they're all over again! :D

lol.. yeah.. it was only my second time at the mahi, ever.. it was all new to me :blinking:
[the first time.. viz was like 30 feet]

however.. this time.. great viz on the first dive..
and.. i had my doubles filled with nitrox :D
both dives.. 60 minutes dive-time each :eyebrow:
[the residual gas from the first dive is such a bonus for the second dive]

btw.. there WERE more.. half the shots weren't posted or went to the bin

I've never dived the Mahi before, but just turned in my DM map of it from all those pictures. Thanks for sharing

lol.. that's how i mapped the sea tiger for my wreck-diving course..
i browsed thru' my file-footage.. 'til i had a complete map..
with multiple possible entry points :eyebrow:
