Dutch now says anyone can dive. Oh wait a minute...now they say only only instructors with a 7' hose, diving a semi-dry suit, breathing EANx 32 or 35.68, who's name starts with the letters L, M, N, or J!!!!

I understand it's their quarry and they make the rules, but...
Can they make up their f***ing minds?

They have a bunch of people here who want to dive, who would have been doing work for them for free, and they're like "yes, no, yes, no, yes, no, yes, no"

Thanks for everything, Bill.

Does everyone else want to find somewhere else to dive this weekend?

It looks like Frank is going to Bainbridge, which is over 5 hours from here.

Anything a bit closer? :P

We really have to do a "Jonnythan friendly" dive one of these weekends! Is there any place close to you to dive? How far are you from Cape Ann by the way?

I'm about three or so hours from Cape Ann. Dutch Springs is about the limit of my driving time - 3.5 hours - unless it's something great. I dunno if there's anything in NJ that's within that time frame from me (I can get to Jersey City in 3 hours flat), but if you guys do anything like that, let me know!

Folks I am game for something on Saturday even if its Bainbridge, I missed the last couple of shore dive attempts ya'll tryed but I dont mind driving up if anybody else is game? 2.5 hrs for me to get to DS so what ever the additional time is from there to another dive site let me know I dont mind leaving plenty early to make it on the objective.

Sylvester,

I'd probably be up for anything on Saturday, too. It'd be easier for me to do BSC, but if someone comes up with a cool alternative I'd probably be up for that, as well.

Jonnythan,

I have a friend who lives outside of Boston and he has acess to a boat in Rockport. I'll probably be going up there at some point this summer, so I'll let you know if anything materializes.

Frank

Aw, heck. I just finished my new channel weight (lesson: duct tape melts at a temperature WAY below that of molten lead) and got my STA in the mail.

I might be up for a 5 hour drive. Let me know ;)
