I shoot video. I need the ability to put myself in any position and stay there perfectly still.

I dove with it years ago, but don't remember how I weighted myself. I seem to recall wearing the pony slung put the negative weight of the tank valve and reg at my left chest, throwing off my ability to shoot in a vertical position.

Its so trivial you can ignore it. Al80s of air/nitrox start to throw you off but anything less than that is quite managable after only a few dives.
 
Does anyone know the approximate buoyancy of a 13 cu tank with valve full and empty ?

I am estimating my 1st stage and reg to be about 2-3 lbs neg, but not sure about the tank.

I HAVE A CATALINA 13 WITH A DIN REG AND IT IS -3.5 FULL
