is this new or used? I can'tj see the end...looks like a hole to tie off a bolt snap for clipping...yes?

It is brand new in box. The hole at the tail end is for you to clip the dive light to yourself, use it with a handstrap, etc. Thanks!
 
It looks like a great light. Has anyone used one? Does anyone know the burn rate for the three settings and how long to recharge?

I'm interested, too. What's the beam angle also?

I think it's about 10 degrees with a little side spill extending out to about 40-50 degrees. I'm not 100% sure, but I'll try to measure the beam angle when I get the chance. Thanks!
 
I was with a guy in Mexico diving caves who was using this light as a backup (I had to confirm before I replied). He got it a bit less expensive but he was very happy with the light. During a light failure, the guide was also impressed with the output.
