I've decided not to click on any of those links...I love diving.

Actually I think you are pretty safe. The first is fresh water and only in certain locales.

The second? Self induced and not associated with any water activities. And I concur with you reluctance to click...

Never ever get in to a discussion with anyone who has ever worked in ER (or its equivalent elsewhere) about foreign bodies and their insertion (deliberate or "accidental" - may or may not be truthful) and subsequent removal - your eyes will water, your brain will hurt (from asking yourself how stupid could a human being actually be) and your sides will hurt from laughing. I didn't know some of the stuff that I was told by my friend was physically possible but I am assured it has been proven time and again.
