How is the vignetting with the 10-17? I'd love to go to a smaller camera than my Canon 40d with 5503 dome, but not being able to get the full advantage of the fisheye lens is a deal-killer for me.

Zooming the popular Tokina 10-17mm to maybe 11-12mm totally eliminates the tiny amount shade vignetting in the Ikelite Canon SL1 housing. On this wide a lens you're talking backing up maybe what, 2-3" if that?

I have also found 99% of people never frame right to the edges and the Canon SL1 optical viewfinder only shows 96% as do many consumer SLR cameras. So this obsession with 10mm versus even 12mm I contend is not a concern.

Then again I've only been using this camera since May 2014 as my main UW system plus putting double digit showers in this system (full disclosure I'm an Ikelite dealer) so what does this old guy know?

LOL.....
