I don't know about you guys, but I'm rooting for the Whalers!
I always wished the Boogie had stayed in Mn, but I remember seeing the contract he got and thinking, "Good for you Boogie!" At the time I believed it would have been a bad move to try and hang on to him for that kind of money, but hindsight shows the Wild to be dull, and it would have been worth 1.65 million to see boogie beat the **** out of a few canucks one more season.
I am glad he wasn't in that first round, or the second might have been in question. R.I.P Derek. You will be missed
