We will be staying at the Plaza Beach Resort in Bonaire and I would like to get in some diving. By email I've been informed of two packages, unlimited shore diving and a drive and dive package. Also been informed that I can't dive by myself, so what is my best way to hook up with a partner(s) to enjoy my first time there?

    Thanks in advance,
    Steve

Perhaps they meant to say that you can not dive alone unless you are solo certified...

Can't you just say your buddies are staying somewhere else?

I just came back from there, I wasn’t staying at the resort that you are, however one of the things that I loved about the island was the respect they give you to dive your dive. I dove solo at night without any grief.

I’d just take tanks and slide into the water. No one will notice.

Don’t announce what you’re doing and in the event you’re questioned say you can find somebody to dive with at a site.

Don’t ask, don’t tell can go a long way.
