Hey all,
I’ve managed to get 3 months off work between Dec — March and would like to donate some time to doing some marine conservation work, ideally something pretty informal, perhaps some sea grass / coral restoration, preferably somewhere warm (SEA / Indian Ocean) with access to good diving...
Macro video and lots of it. Come join us as we head to, seldom dove, first and second reefs at Bonaire's Punt Vierkant dive site. Punt Vierkant, often battered by storm surge, has dive mooring in a coral field well away from shore with access becoming more restricted as more construction limits...

Wrecks, a massive 19th century Rodgers anchor, huge schools of Bigeye Scad; Bogas; silversides; and creole wrasse. Also, you will experience a massive elkhorn coral, a pregnant scrawled filefish, and more! This episode is a highlight reel of the past week’s diving and it shows you how amazing...
Pristine, critically endangered coral like few have ever seen! Come with us as we take you into Bonaire's restricted Willem Alexander Reserve. Largely untouched and unseen by humans for over 40 years, it is one of two restricted reserves on the island. Yet, STINAPA, Bonaire's National Marine...
The last year has shown us how vulnerable the diving industry is to uncertainty and that sustainability is the key to resilience.
Covid-19 has changed travel, brought new economic challenges, and added more rapidly increasing threats to the environment. The pandemic has proven that the...
A few reef sharks that used to be very common and abundant, and are particularly popular among divers, are now threatened. This includes the Caribbean reef shark (Carcharhinus perezi) reclassified from Near Threatened to Endangered, lemon shark (Negaprion brevirostris) from Near Threatened to...
Hi everyone,
this message may sound silly... but trying is free, so here am I
Because I am finalizing a PhD in acoustical engineering, I would like to understand if there are any possibilities for a temporary job in a scientific/conservationist field where I can dive a lot - for when I finish...
I wanted to take a moment to share a video, I made, on a part of Bonaire that few if anyone ever dives. It is a stretch of reef between Wilemstorem lighthouse and the Red Slave obelisk. Like the Coral Triangle, the area does experience strong currents and waves much of the year which help...
Here's our latest trip report from liveaboard Emperor Explorer. It's Whale Shark Insanity in the Maldives!
