    Devil's Den

Just completed trip to Devil's Den. Diving a cenote was fun. Knowing how old it is was cool. Many crevices to explore. A few fish, a turtle and lots of heavy textured large rocks. Dove with a shorty 3mil and was rather chilled in the 72* water. (I tend to not be cold.) Be sure to take a light...

    Definition of a loggable dive

I’m looking for a definitive “authoritative” answer to a question we’re debating. What constitutes a “dive”? We were just in Mexico and I did a fair bit of cenote diving; on one day we were at Chac Mool. We set up at “Little Brother” and the plan was to do three dives: 1. to Chac Mool; 2. to the...

In Cozumel now...worth a day trip to do whale shark swim or cenote dive?

sister and I are in Cozumel now, and are diving 2-4 dives a day through Friday. We fly out late on Saturday. My question is, is it worth missing an entire day in Cozumel to ferry over to the mainland for a cenote dive or whale shark excursion? I’ve personally done the whale shark thing a few...

    Help "figuring out" cenote diving

Hi all- Some friends and I are looking at a Cozumel trip in February. I'd love to dive some cenotes while I'm there if possible. I'm an expert diver with a decent amount of overhead environment experience including wreck penetration, but my friends don't have this. Since it may be relevant in...

Mexico Cenote Diving or sth else in Latin America/Cavern Diving

Hi, I'm going to Latin America in a month and was wondering where to dive there. We pass St Maarten, Aruba and Curaçao on the way to Panama, so I'll definitely go diving in each of those. From Panama City I'm open to fly anywhere for about a week. Since we dive a lot in the ocean here on Gran...

    Cenotes

I tried my best to shoot inside the cenotes - El Pit & Dos Ojos. I shot this on a GoPro Hero 4 Silver - 1080P, 60fps, Auto White Balance. I'm thinking next time, I should turn off auto white balance. Would a higher or lower white balance setting be better to capture video in a low light environment?
