They were plenty big enough for me to sleep in. I'll be doing Socorro in March, 2010. And I think most people understand that the words 'dorm' and 'bunk' would translate to less privacy. What were you expecting to do down there, anyway ? Nevermind.

I have two DX4's, a Gamma II (pony) and a Zeta. All have been down to 38 degrees in saltwater. Worked like a champ. The Zeta needs to be 'tweeked' down a bit. It was on a hair trigger right out of the box.

Nautilus Explorer has single bunks. Very nice !!!

The price is $18 for one day, $79 for all three days if you order them before March 1st. $25 a day after March 1st. Unless you're taking some courses, I can't see why anyone would want to go for more than one day. I like going up, but one day is plenty. I'll be there Sunday for a photo course.

I love Mexico. I've been there over twenty times. But a point of fact is Mexico is ranked sixth in the world in murders with .130213 murders per 1000 people. The U.S. is twenty-forth with .042802 per 1000. That's over a three fold increase. That said, I'm planning my next trip to P.D.C.

Venture III does Wednesday trips out of Belmar. Don't know of any shore dives on L.B.I. except the 'Acme barge'. I'm not even sure that thing is still around. Last I heard, years ago, it was all rebar. Like punji sticks waiting to impale.

And if they lose their $5000 rig, I bet they'll go with a tether. Wrist lanyards are worthless and highly uncomfortable if you have a set of gear with any kind of size and weight to it. My gear is worth a few grand, and I didn't wait till I lost it to tether it to me. Live and learn, I guess...
