Bought this light from a board member that made a highly sought after batch of them. You can read more about him here:
Travel DIR Scuba Canister LED Light 15 WT, 1000+ lumen DIR , LIIO, tight beam
This is the 3000 lumen version which only a few were made. You can read more about them here...
Hi all I will be doing some dives and prefer a BP/wing setup but the few shops I've called do not offer any for rental. Any advice? I'll be 10 minutes from Boynton Beach, near Manalapan. Thx.
Has less than 50 dives on it, excellent condition, no VPM, screen always protected and no scratches even on the protector. Some light scuffs on the delrin battery case, they would only come up under flash can't even see them otherwise in a pic.

OC model only. new or used, looking for a decent deal, please PM me with any offers. Thanks.
Also have a Predator in mint condition I'm willing to trade (plus some $).
Used but in great overall shape, minus the usual dings of SoCal shore entries and boat rides. Propellers are all in great condition, there is some paint bubbling up around the locks but that is common for the Sierra and is only a visual annoyance not a real problem (pic below).
Battery is also...
Pics attached. They all need Hydro/VIP. The valves are smooth turning Thermos. The AL80 and AL40 have stage rigging, but you may want to inspect the rubber bands further.
The Faber LP85s have really nice thick Highland Mills bands and were my favorite doubles for balanced trim.
I prefer local...
Gave mine to the DM on my last dive in Cozumel so hope karma will help me pick up one here before i buy a new one...PM me please if you have one...

hey bob / other FF experts...
picked up my first pair of force fins (used) and being a turtle-fin-tech-diver i'm excited to try them out on an upcoming trip to cozumel. i wanted something smaller and lighter and instead of slipstreams thought i'd give these a go.
i noticed the rubber along...
I heard the Navy is accepting rebreather submissions until mid-June 2009 for testing. It would be a great service to rebreather owners and prospective buyers to have your units tested by the Navy so we could have some scientific 3rd party data. I believe the last time they tested rebreathers was...

PS lightweight webbing does not a good weight belt make. the buckle just couldn't keep it's grip on it.
hey all:
i've started diving in double Faber LP 95s for a class and am finding it difficult to maintain trim because i'm so head heavy. i'm like a sand dart the minute i stop moving.
i've tried a 4lb trim weight on the rear of the tanks and that helped some. i've tried to extend my legs...
Hey frustrated mac users and smart tec owners:
I know some of us have been trying to do this for quite some time without success, but i've recently been able to come up with a solution. Forgive me if this has been posted in another thread, but if anyone is interested here is what has allowed...
bought my smart tec awhile back before deciding to go DIR, so using it in gauge mode and like that i can download dive profiles.
it would be great to be able to bungee it, tho. Has anybody out there done this or have any ideas for modifications? You lot are a whole bunch smarter and more...
i'm trying to figure out how big a wing i need to dive my drysuit and a single steel faber LP. i don't have one currently but will be purchasing a SS bp/w with hog harness. this is for socal ocean dives. i'd love to be able to get away with a 30# wing, but think i may need 40#.
i've read all...
